The Company for Quality Birding Holidays

Spanish Nature are different from other Companies offering birding Holidays on the following important points:

High quality and comfort of accommodation, food, transport and all other aspects of the tour are as important to us as the birding itself.

We provide alternative programs. Spanish Nature understands that when a couple travel together, sometimes one has less interest in the actual birding and prefers to enjoy other aspects of the visited holiday destination.

Travelling together as friends, this is our philosophy, because we want to enjoy the tour as much as you and we also want to be an integral part of the group.

Our birding guides are of an extremely high standard, maybe this is not necessary to say, but of course we want to assure you, that you will really see all possible birds.

spekes-weaverIn August 2009 Spanish Nature did its first birding tour to Kenya. The Itinerary had been set up in close collaboration was our ground-agent in Kenya and now the moment was there  to experience  if the high expectations would come true. We started in Nairobi, going north to Mount Kenya and the Samburu National Reserve. Continuing with Lake Nakuru, to see the Famous Pink Coloured spectacle of the thousands of Lesser Flamingos. Spending time to visit Lake Baringo and Lake Naivasha and finally ending with a 4 days stay in the Masai Mara to experience the migration of the Blue Wildebeest. Mick Richardson gives an account of one of his most recent day tours around the Granada area. Always a good area for birding, Mick has the uncanny knack of turning-up the unusual and this most recent trip proved to be no exception. Apart from showing his guests a real local specialty the Black-bellied Sandgrouse he happened upon an Eleonora’s Falcon (Mick’s first record for Granada province) and had great views of a male Merlin! Mick is justifiably getting a reputation for excellent day tours in the Granada area, he certainly has so many glowing testimonials now, why not join him for a day?
