The Company for Quality Birding Holidays
Spanish Nature are different from other Companies offering birding Holidays on the following important points:
High quality and comfort of accommodation, food, transport and all other aspects of the tour are as important to us as the birding itself.
We provide alternative programs. Spanish Nature understands that when a couple travel together, sometimes one has less interest in the actual birding and prefers to enjoy other aspects of the visited holiday destination.
Travelling together as friends, this is our philosophy, because we want to enjoy the tour as much as you and we also want to be an integral part of the group.
Our birding guides are of an extremely high standard, maybe this is not necessary to say, but of course we want to assure you, that you will really see all possible birds.
Due to special demand from several fellow travellers, we have designed a Birding Tour, for Photographers only. It should not be a surprise that for this first Photographers only tour we have chosen Andalucía, because Andalucía has it all, and of course it is on our own doorstep, we know how to provide the best opportunities! We will form 2 different groups; one group with an interchange of knowledge between the participants and one group lead by a Professional Wildlife Photographer. Price levels will be different, it all depends on your requirements. Follow the link to read all about it.
The "Classic southern Spanish birding tour" visiting two of the richest birding areas in Europe. On this spring tour, we cover a rich variety of landscape and habitats travelling from the mouth of the Rio Guadalquivir in Huelva province’s Atlantic coast, to the Rio Guadarranque that flows down from the sierras to the Mediterranean. The Doñana National Park, which we will visit during the first 3 days, covers almost half a million acres and is one of the most important wetlands in Europe and is home to an abundance of wildlife, in particular resident and migratory birds. The unspoilt Costa de la Luz, will be the area where we will spend the next four days, exploring the very best birding sites inland.
Why not treat yourself to either a short or long winter’s break in the mountain wilderness of Andalusia? We have designed 3 very specific and special days, each with its own particular appeal and each a very different experience. You can decide which day you would prefer, or perhaps choose to indulge yourself with arranging all 3 days! The key here is flexibility; it is your choice to take 1, 2 or 3 day tours in the area. Whatever you decide, a winter break in our area will provide you with a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. To find out more follow the link below…

At all times of the year, the Serranía de Ronda can present wonderful opportunities for exploring fauna and flora. It is a must visit area of Europe, so why not join us on one of our birding day tours in the area and experience an Andalucía wilderness. The South of Spain is at your door step
Birding in the Ronda area of Andalucia has produced unexpected results this year, not least some good news, Spanish Imperial Eagle and Black Stork both are thought to have bred and Long-legged Buzzard nested in the area. Andalusia has always been a great place to visit for birds, but the inland area of Ronda for birding has been outstanding. Moussier's Redstart, Little Swift, Alpine Chough, Wallcreeper and Rüppell's Vulture has featured amongst other birds in the Ronda mountains. Peter Jones recounts his spring and summer birding in the Ronda and surrounding areas.
The British Birdwatching Fair is the world's first and largest international birdwatching event. We will again be present at the Birdfair 2009 (Rutland Water). As usual we will be in attendance on the Andalucia stand. It is exciting for us to once again be attending the largest and best bird fair in the world. We are really looking forward to seeing many of our old friends, plus of course making new ones and hope you can make it to Rutland (Marquee 4, Stand numbers 8/9/10 August 20th, 21st and 22nd). If you need information on our day tours or full tours to Costa Rica, Ecuador, Galapagos, Kenya, India or Morocco then Peter Jones, our senior guide, will be there to field any questions or queries….
